Prof. Ismail Khalil

Profile: Ismail Khalil (http://www.iiwas.org/ismail/) is the deputy head of the institute of telecooperation, Johanes Kepler University Linz, Austria, since October 2002. He is the president of the international organization of Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services (@WAS). He holds a PhD in computer engineering and received his habilitation degree in applied computer science on his work on agents interaction in ubiquitous Environments in May 2008. He currently teaches, consults, and conducts research in Mobile Multimedia, Cloud Computing, Agent Technologies, and Web Intelligence and is also interested in the broader business, social, and policy implications associated with the emerging information technologies. Before joining Johannes Kepler University of Linz, he was a research fellow at the Intelligent Systems Group at Utrecht University, Netherlands from 2001-2002 and the project manager of AgenCom project at the Software Competence Center Hagenberg Austria from 2000-2001. Dr. Khalil has authored around 100 scientific publications, books, and book chapters. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of 4 international journals and 2 books series. His work has been published and presented at various conferences and workshops.

Prof. Zainal A. Hasibuan, Ir., MLS, Ph.D.

Profile: Zainal A. Hasibuan is a consultant, researcher and academic staff of UI's computer science faculty. He earned degrees from several faculties, a bachelor degree majoring in statistics at Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), a master of information science at Indiana University and then continued his Ph.D degree studies majoring in information storage and retrieval systems at Indiana University. Zainal A. Hasibuan is incorporated in the central APTIKOM stewardship as the core administrat Zainal A. Hasibuan joined the management of APTIKOM headquarters in the core management, the general secretary. Zainal is also a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Indonesia (UI) and also as chairman of the Indonesian digital library conference

Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Abdul Rahman.

Profile: Abdul Wahab bin Abdul Rahman obtained his BSc. Honors degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Essex University, Colchester, England, his MSc. degree in Electronic Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and his PhD from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). From 1979 to 1990, he worked for the Hewlett Packard Company in Singapore and the USA as R&D project manager. Abdul Wahab was an associate professor at Nanyang Technological University of Singapore in the division of computing Systems. Now he is a professor with the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) at Gombak, and also the Dean of the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology.
He has published books and many papers in conferences and journals in areas of cognitive science and engineering, digital systems, speech and signal processing. In addition he is also active in humanitarian work and has participate actively with the Mercy Relief in Singapore as the vice chairman and BOD. From 1996 to 2004 he was the supervisor of the madrasah al-Irsyad alislamiah and also the board member of the Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS).
